We purchase books based on what our community members are seeking from us and our current inventory needs. Before selling, here are two important questions to ask yourself:

Are your books clean and free from water, rodent, and insect damage? 

Have they been stored in a safe space (bookshelves vs. a damp garage)?

We are very interested in books by award winning authors published in the previous two or three years.

We are always interested in timeless classics - think Dickens, Poe, or Bronte. 

Generally, we are unable to buy ‘serial’ authors (Clive Cussler, Danielle Steele, James Patterson etc.) as we already have a large inventory of them. We also don’t take condensed/abridged versions of books (Reader's Digest Condensed, for example).

Lastly, we don’t buy or sell diet books, including cookbooks.

Please consider donating anything we cannot use to your local Little Free Library!
